With Week 14 and, in nearly all leagues the playoffs, upon us it’s never been more important to have a guy who is clicking at just the right time. We point out the guys that, going by Week 13’s games, have to be in your lineup with everything on the line. Points listed are in standard scoring

QB: Russel Wilson, 28pts

DANGERUSS went wild against a very solid New Orleans defense that has stymied many a passer this season. Facing his role model Drew Brees in a game that sewed up homefield throughout the playoffs, Wilson was brutally efficient, connecting on 22 out of 30 passes and amassing more than 300 yards. Your only worry going forward should be that with nothing of note to play for, when does the Seahawk’s Pete Carollsit your stud QB?

RB: CJ Spiller, 20pts

If this football game was the legendary music video, Thriller,  CJ is Michael Jackson, a fantasy zombie finally emerged from the grave. If you made the fantasy playoffs after spending what was likely a top 10 pick on the boom or bust Bills back you’re hoping that he’s finally healthy and ready to feast on his late season schedule and not just a flash in the pan.

RB: Adrian Peterson. 21pts

If there was a football version of the movie Space Jam wouldn’t A.P  (or Megatron) be the only logical choices for the Michael Jordan role? If not then I’m not so sure he isn’t a Monstar. This week he averaged 6 yards a run when facing 8 men in the box. Let that sink in–when the Bears tried to take away the only viable weapon the Vikings had — that weapon ran roughshod over them.

WR: Eric Decker 41 pts
Josh Gordon, 38 pts
Alshon Jeffery, 36pts

Three receivers, three vastly different situations. Decker caught four touchdowns from a Hall of Fame QB a week after scoring 0 pts. Gordon set an NFL record by posting the first ever back to back 200 yard receiving games while hauling in passes from his third different QB this season. Jeffery set a franchise record by being the first player in the history of the storied Bears franchise to go for 249 yards, quickly cementing his status as journeyman Josh Mcown’s favorite target. No matter the situation if you were facing a must win situation last week you probably either wanted to shower one of these players with gifts, or curse their name for all eternity.

TE: Zach Ertz, 18pts

Its probably not a coincidence that the most fantasy friendly defense gave up 3 tds to the Eagle tight ends, with Ertz pulling in two of them. This may not be a fluke however as with Desean Jackson and Riley Cooper on the outside, and Lesean Mccoy underneath, Eagle opponents may be forced to pick their poison, leaving Ertz and Brent Celek to pad their stats as the safety valves.

D/ST: Lions, 21

This was a woodshed game as the Lions felt no sympathy for the Packers who were without their star QB. Three turnovers and seven sacks resulted in as explosive a fantasy performance as you’re likely to see all season from this unit.

K: Justin Tucker, 19pts

Tucker was 5-5 Sunday and carried his team to yet another hard fought win against their rivals from Pittsburgh.
