Is it a bird, is it a plane, no, it’s pro skydiver Luke Aikens jumping 25,000ft out the sky, without a parachute!!
The crazy daredevil has become the first person ever to do this – the 42-year-old hit 150mph as he fell into a 100x100ft safety net in Simi Valley, Southern California.
According to the BBC, he has a stunning 18,000 jumps under his belt and has trained two years for his latest triumph. Here’s what he had to say straight after Saturday’s dive:
“I’m almost levitating, it’s incredible … This thing just happened! I can’t even get the words out of my mouth” What about ‘Thank f*** I’m alive’?
It’s been revealed Luke almost cancelled the jump after being told to wear a parachute for protection. However, the organisers bottled it and lifted the ban just a few minutes before take off.
We’re sure his wife, who was watching, was absolutely thrilled about this!
