Finally, the successor to Comedy Central’s, The Colbert Report, has been chosen. Surprise! It’s NOT another white guy!
The Daily Show’s Senior Black Correspondent, Larry Wilmore, will take Colbert’s coveted 11:30 time slot, with a series aptly titled, The Minority Report. At first read, the shows title seems pretty offensive, but then you realize who we’re dealing with and it suddenly makes perfect sense.
Wilmore will make the move from Los Angeles to New York and take over for Colbert in January of next year. While you wait for more comedic gold, here’s seven of Wilmore’s best moments, all in digestible gif form.
