One of the first rules of parenting is that you have to teach your kid not to talk to strangers! Most parents are confident that by the time the kid reaches 3-4 years of age, the message has come across effectively.
This is by no means the case, something that Joey Salads wanted to highlight in a social experiment.
Accompanied by a cute little puppy, Joey approached a number of mothers over watching their kids in a playground.
After questioning whether they had taught their kid not to talk to people they don’t know, the women were all confident that their kid would not answer or run over to them if approached.
Joey then challenges that theory by walking over to the kids. The results are frightening.
After just a few seconds of talking and introducing the kids to the dog, he asks if they want to come and see the other puppies and all of the children grab his hand and come with him.
This highlights how important it is to stay careful, ’cause no matter how many times you tell your children something, it will not change the fact that they are still young and naive.
