Miaow! Star Trek actress Alice Eve has got her claws into Bruce Jenner by accusing the Kardashian star of playing at being a woman.
The 33-year-old took to Instagram to make a series of unflattering comments about Brucey – who recently told of his sex change during an interview with chat host Diane Sawyer.
Eve (who in case you haven’t heard of her, appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness) reckons nobody would have heard of former athlete Bruce if he was born a woman.
She apparently said: “If you were a woman no one would have heard of you because women can’t compete in the decathlon.
“You would be a frustrated young athlete who wasn’t given a chance.
“Until women are paid the same as men, then playing at being a “woman” while retaining the benefits of being a man is unfair.
“Do you have a vagina? Are you paid less than men? Then, my friend, you are a woman.”
Ouch! The comments have caused a mighty shit-storm, with many social media users claiming that her views are wide of the mark. Even the mighty BBC has covered the fallout.
